Impactful Leadership for Effective Schools

Using a cognitive coaching approach, ELS works with district office administrators, principals, and assistant principals of all experience levels to promote individual growth and to foster student success.  A variety of coaching packages are available for both new and experienced school and district administrators.

ELS works with administrators to improve the effectiveness of the employee evaluation experience.  Professional learning includes side-by-side evaluation experiences, assistance on gathering evidence, and guidance in giving targeted and meaningful feedback to promote educator growth. 

ELS works to build administrator capacity to be strong instructional leaders in their schools.  The professional learning covers topics such as, but not limited to, strategically choosing high leverage initiatives for maximum impact, promoting a climate of constant improvement, fostering data-based instruction, conducting effective walkthroughs, and giving effective feedback.

ELS has extensive experience in providing professional development and school improvement facilitation to help schools as they implement culturally responsive policies and practices.  This includes providing help instituting culturally responsive instructional models, as well as ensuring your school environment decisions are consistently based on equitable, inclusive practices for all students.  

Creating a coaching culture can lead to an environment filled with constant productive feedback.  ELS provides professional development to administrators on how to coach others to increase their skills and productivity.  The techniques given during the professional learning blend coaching and supervisory language to build a coaching relationship based on trust, growth, and continuous improvement

Building a strong school climate has never been more important.  ELS provides professional development in developing and implementing an effective PBIS system in your school.  This professional learning includes how to effectively implement Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 MTSS services.

ELS facilitates school and district leadership teams.  Facilitation includes School Improvement Plan (SIP) development, as well as ongoing support to ensure that goals in the SIP are consistently monitored for adjustment to promote successful implementation of school and district goals.
